Hyderabad: Revellers had a miraculous escape at the All India Industrial Exhibition after a double arm ranger malfunctioned on Thursday. Those who got stuck in the double arm ranger upside down had a nightmarish experience as they had to remain suspended in the same position till technicians repaired it.
According to the sources, some persons were enjoying the joyride on the double arm ranger in the Numaish grounds when the machine got jammed due to a snag with people inside. A few people were seated in the joyride when the incident occurred.
The management and technicians struggled reportedly for 20 minutes before rectifying the snag. Some people complained of illness after coming out and were referred to local healthcare outposts in exhibition grounds, reports said.
The police on information reached the spot and stopped the joyride. The police have asked the R&B Department to conduct inspection of the joyrides.
