Yadadri-Bhongir: Take part in Palle Pragathi, Vasalamarri villagers told
District Collector Pamela Satpathy visits Vasalamarri, inspects the implementation of the Palle Pragathi programme.

Yadadri-Bhongir: District Collector Pamela Satpathy on Wednesday exhorted the villagers of Vasalamarri of Turkapally mandal to participate in Shramadhanam and make Vasalamarri, adopted by Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, as a role model in the development.
Along with Additional District Collector (Local Bodies) Deepak Tiwari, she went on a surprise visit to Vasalamarri and inspected the implementation of the Palle Pragathi programme. She also examined the saplings planted in the SC Colony of the village under Telangana Ku Haritha Haram and also inspected Rythu Vedika.
She inquired with the Agriculture Extension Officer about the number of farmers in the village and area of land under cultivation and Rythu Bandhu scheme money being paid. She has also inquired with the Agriculture Officer whether all the farmers received financial assistance under the Rythu Bandhu scheme into their bank accounts for the monsoon crop season. As there was no compound wall on one side of the graveyard of the village, she instructed the officials to set up bio-fencing on that side.
The Collector asked the people to voluntarily participate in Shramadhanam and make success Palle Pragathi programme as Vasalamarri was adopted by the Chief Minister. People should utilise the Palle Pragathi programme for the development of their village, she maintained. She has also hinted that the Chief Minister would again visit Vasalamarri in three or four weeks. District Rural Development Officer Upender Reddy, village surpanch Pogula Anjaneyulu, MPTC Naveen Kumar and others were also present.
