Yadadri-Bhongir: Three persons including two women labourers died and two others were injured after a TSRTC bus hit them on National Highway No 163 near Alair in Yadadri-Bhongir district on Sunday evening. The deceased were identified as Ankarla Lakshmi, Ankarla Kavitha and Urella Shyam, who were natives of Rayagiri in Bhongir mandal.

Ankarla Lakshmi and Urella Shyam died on the spot while Ankarla Kavitha died at Alair government hospital. Two other workers Vurella Lavanya and another person were also severely injured in the incident. Lavanya’s condition is said to be critical. All the passengers in the bus escaped unhurt. The bus driver has been taken into custody, police said.
