Hyderabad: It was an occasion to celebrate as the former international and National footballers of the 1970s and 80s met together at Fateh Maidan Club. The get together was organized by former international Mohd Akbar, who has come from the USA.
Former Indian captain Victor Amalraj said they went down the memory lane. “Some old memories came flooding as we talked about our game and about the game in general. We enjoyed our discussion when we talked about various aspects of football of the past and present,” said Amalraj
The following former international and National Footballers were present: Habib Ali, Abdul Qayum, Laiquddin Khan, Ahmed Ali Khan, Mohd Jaffer, Anwar Hussain, , Habib Khan, Masiq Khan, Abdul Raoof, Aleem Khan, Shabbir Ali, Victor Amalraj, Mohd.Akbar, Mohd Hameedulla, Siddique, Afsar Ahmed, Shamim and Syed Hussain Abidi.
