12-year-old boy found hanging at Madarsa in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A 12-year-old boy was found dead under suspicious circumstances at a madarsa in Chandrayangutta on Saturday morning.
The boy, Mohd Awaiz, was staying and studying at the madarsa in Ghazi Millat Colony under the Chandrayangutta police station limits. He was a resident of Bahadurpura and since the last two years, was pursuing his education here.
On Saturday morning, a classmate found him hanging to a towel tied to an iron rod in the one of the toilets, said KN Prasad Varma, SHO (Chandrayangutta).
The police shifted the body for postmortem examination to the Osmania General Hospital mortuary, from where it was handed over to the family. A case has been booked and investigation is on.
