48-year old brick kiln worker attempts to rape 2-year old girl in Ameenpur
A 48-year-old man was arrested for allegedly attempting to sexually assault a two-year-old girl near Ilapur thanda in Sangareddy district. A passer-by noticed the girl crying, rescued her and caught the accused. Police later produced him before court
Sangareddy: In a shocking incident, a 48-year-old man attempted to rape a two-year-old girl close to Ilapur thanda in Ameenpur mandal on Sunday night. The accused, Raghunath, a native of Uttar Pradesh, was staying at Deepak Bricks Kiln Company.
He was residing in a shed close to the company after working at the brick kiln located at Gandigudem. The accused took the girl away from her residence. When he tried to sexually assault her, a passer-by, Sashi Kumar, noticed the girl crying and came to her rescue. He immediately rescued the girl and caught hold of the accused. Later, the parents of the victim and Ameenpur police rushed to the spot. The accused was produced before the court and sent to remand.
