602 new Covid infections, three deaths registered in Telangana

A total of 1,015 persons recovered on Sunday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,51,468 with a recovery rate of 95.20 per cent

Hyderabad: Telangana has recorded 602 new Covid-19 infections and three fatalities on Sunday taking the overall toll to 1,433 and the cumulative number of positive cases so far to 2,64,128. As on Sunday, there were 11, 227 active Covid-19 cases in the State.

A total of 1,015 persons recovered on Sunday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,51,468 with a recovery rate of 95.20 per cent, while the countrywide recovery rate is 93.7 per cent.


Between Saturday and Sunday, 24,139 Covid tests were conducted in the State while reports of another 281 samples are awaited. So far, a total of 51, 58, 474 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 2, 64, 128 have tested positive and 2, 51, 468 persons have recovered.

The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included three from Adilabad, 25 from Bhadradri, 129 from areas under GHMC, 34 from Jagtiyal, two from Jangaon, three from Bhupalpally, five from Gadwal, three from Kamareddy, 51 from Karimnagar, 16 from Khammam, one from Asifabad, 10 from Mahabubnagar, 11 from Mahabubabad, 18 from Mancherial, five from Medak, 60 from Medchal Malkajgiri, eight from Mulugu, 10 from Nagarkurnool, 21 from Nalgonda, one from Narayanpet, three from Nirmal, six from Nizamabad, five from Pedapalli, six from Siricilla, 62 from Rangareddy, 24 from Sangareddy, 16 from Siddipet, 18 from Suryapet, four each from Vikarabad and Wanaparthy, nine from Warangal Rural and 27 from Warangal Urban and two from Bhongir.
