Hyderabad: An Air hostess walking an aircraft’s aisle styled in uniform may not be new. But the same air hostess walking the ramp it is definitely different. Professionals from the aviation industry – air hostess, cabin crew and others have walked the ramp like models.
Giving it an interesting twist, the fashion show, organised to launch celebrity fashion designer Shwetha Reddy’s new label – Nakshatra, had a unique theme – “Fashion of Wedding and Aviation”.
The designer, who has worked with actors like Shruti Haasan, Shriya Saran and Trisha in her eleven years as a fashionpreneur, explained that the fashion show was the voice of the women.
Explaining further, she said that the concept of the show was divided into three sequences – floral that replicates the innocence in a woman; devil which shows her ferocious quality and Love which shows her qualities after marriage.
“The three sequences depicted the changing moods and personality of a woman. A woman starts her life delicately innocent as a flower and when taken for granted, shows her ferociousness and finally spreads her love and smile when the society understands her,” Shwetha Reddy shares. She concludes saying the fashion show was to empower and motivate all kinds of women to be fashionable and influential.
