Afzalgunj firing: Bidar police team reaches Hyderabad to gather details

Hyderabad: A team of the Bidar police reached Hyderabad to gather details about the firing at Afzalgunj, in which a manager of a travel agency suffered a bullet wound.
Two suspects had earlier in the day shot dead a security guard and another person before escaping with Rs 90 lakh cash.
The police suspect the same criminals had shot at manager-cum-cleaner Jahangir at Afzalgunj when he tried to check their luggage. The criminals later fled the spot.
An official of the Bidar police, on condition of anonymity, said they suspect the gang hails from Bihar or Madhya Pradesh and was on its way to their hometown via Raipur in Chhattisgarh.
