Hyderabad: Candidates seeking admissions into two-year BEd courses offered by the Colleges of Education in the State should gear up for the Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test (TS EdCET) 2021 web-based counselling.
The TS EdCET 2021 qualified candidates should first register, pay the processing fee of Rs 800 and upload scanned copies of the original certificates for online verification till December 8.
The certificates that are to be uploaded include TS EdCET 2021 rank card, memorandum of marks of SSC or equivalent and intermediate or equivalent, and memorandum of marks in qualifying examination (degree). If a candidate does not have minimum qualifying marks in the degree, then a memorandum of marks in the PG examination has to be uploaded.
Candidates should also upload provisional/original degree certificate of qualifying exam, study certificates from Class 9 to graduation level, transfer certificate, Aadhaar card, community and income certificate (if applicable).
As for admissions under the special category-NCC/CAP/PH/ Sports, the physical verification of certificates is scheduled to be held from December 9 to 11 for candidates who book slots.
All candidates who wish to claim special categories have to complete the certificate verification in phase-I counselling itself. There will be no further certificate verification for special categories after the scheduled date. After attending certificates verification, candidates have to upload all educational and other certificates.
A list of all eligible candidates will be displayed on the website on December 17. Candidates should exercise web options for provisional seat allotment from December 18 to 20 and options can be edited up to December 21. A list of provisional selected candidates will be placed on the website on December 24.
Students who receive seat allotment orders must report to the colleges concerned along with their tuition fee payment challan for verification of original certificates between December 25 and 28. The classwork will commence on December 30.
