Annual credit plan of Yadadri-Bhongir pegged at Rs 2,937.09 crore

Out of the total Rs 2,937 crore credit plans, a sum of Rs 2,779 crore has been allocated for priority sector and Rs 158 crore for non-priority sector

Yadadri-Bhongir: The outlay of annual credit plan of Yadadri-Bhongir district was pegged at Rs 2,937.09 crore for the financial year 2021-2022. District Collector Pamela Satpathy on Thursday released the annual credit plan for 2021-22 at a programme held in her chamber.

Out of the total Rs 2,937 crore credit plans, a sum of Rs 2,779 crore has been allocated for priority sector and Rs 158 crore for non-priority sector. Besides, Rs 2,349.73 crore has been proposed for crop loans, Rs 387.5 crore for Self Help Groups (SHGs) and Rs 293 crore for small scale industries.


Pamela Satpathy said banks had extended loans amounting to Rs 2,761 crore last year that was 115 per cent of the targeted Rs 2,411 crore. The banks extended loans that went beyond the target amount in the annual credit plan of last year. The tradition should continue this year too, she said, and underlined the need to accord importance to allied sectors of agriculture including fisheries and dairy in extending loans.

Representative of Reserve Bank of India Sai Kumar, Lead Bank Manager Nagarjuna Babu and NABARD District Development Managar Vinay were also present.
