BJP leaders complaint against Chief Minister Revanth Reddy over alleged remarks on Hindu deities
BJP leaders filed a complaint at Saroornagar Police alleging that Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy made derogatory remarks against Sanatana Dharma and Hindu deities. Police said the complaint is under examination, with leaders demanding immediate legal action.

Hyderabad: BJP leaders on Thursday lodged a complaint at Saroornagar Police Station alleging that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has made derogatory remarks against Sanatana Dharma and Hindu deities.
The leaders said the comments had hurt the religious sentiments of Hindu devotees and demanded immediate legal action.
In their complaint, BJP representatives sought registration of a case, alleging that the Chief Minister’s remarks in his recent public speech promoted enmity, amounted to deliberate insult of religious beliefs, and had the potential to disturb public peace. They also submitted video links purported to contain the statements in question.
The leaders urged police to act promptly to prevent what they termed as disrespectful and provocative comments against religious traditions.
Saroornagar Police said further examination is on.
