Sangareddy: Andole MLA Chanti Kranthi Kiran demanded that the Union government allot vaccination liberally to Telangana State.
Pointing out that doctors in Primary Health Centres (PHC) used to administer vaccination to 100 people at PHCs Sangareddy district till May 1, the MLA said since then, they have not been able to give vaccination to even 20 people per day due to shortage of vaccination supply from the Centre.
Kranthi Kiran, who inspected the PHC Raikode on Tuesday, inspected the vaccination centre too.
Saying that the lack of proper monitoring of Covid-19 infected is causing the rapid spread of the virus in rural parts, he has suggested the district administration to keep the responsibility of monitoring the Covid-19 positive patients to respective Sarpanches and Panchayat Secretaries.
He has observed that the Sarpanches and Panchayat Secretaries must take the responsibility of keeping the Covid-19 patients in house isolation until he/ she recovers. Unless, the MLA has said that the virus will spread much faster.
