Sangareddy: District Backward Classes Welfare Department has opened a clay idols stall on the premises of District Collectorate, Sangaredy on Thursday. After inaugurating the outlet, Additional Collector Rajaharshi Sha called upon the people to install only clay idols to protect water bodies and environment. Since the BC Welfare Department had trained Kummari and Shaivahana Community people in making clay idols and roped in the services to make the idols, the Additional Collector said that these communities will get livelihood if the citizens bought clay idols.
