Construction worker dies after falling in elevator pit in Hyderabad

He is suspected to have accidentally fallen down from the fourth floor in the elevator pit

Hyderabad: A construction worker died after falling in the elevator pit at an under construction building at Dundigal on the city outskirts on Saturday night.

According to the police, the man, K Rampal (25), a native of Uttar Pradesh was working at a building at Simhapuri colony, Dundigal. On Saturday night, he went to sleep on the fourth floor of the building and is suspected to have accidentally fallen down from the fourth floor in the elevator pit.

On Sunday morning, the workers noticed the body of the man lying dead and alerted the police. The police shifted the body for post-mortem and registered a case.
