Cop distributes solar lamps, essentials to adivasis in Kothagudem’s Palavagu
A Sub-Inspector in Khammam district distributed solar lamps and essential supplies to 50 migrant adivasi families in Palavagu village with support from the Robin Hood Army, marking his mother’s death anniversary and extending continued support to the community.

Kothagudem: Sub-Inspector of Police Pushpala Rama Rao has distributed solar electric lamps and essential commodities to migrant adivasis at Palavagu in Mulakalapalli mandal in Kothagudem district.
At a programme in the village on Monday, the SI distributed solar electric lamps to 50 families of two hamlets, along with rice, lentils, cooking oil and other essentials sufficient for 10 days for each household. The material was provided with the support of an NGO, Robin Hood Army.
Speaking on the occasion, Rama Rao said that upon learning that 50 migrant adivasi households in the village were facing difficulties due to lack of electricity, he consulted Hyderabad-based Robin Hood Army to help them.
Marking the second death anniversary of his mother, Pushpala Indiramma, his family, which hails from Mulakalapalli village, arranged meals for adivasis of two hamlets of Palavagu. The family would continue to stand by the adivasis and support them in the future, the SI noted.
Gundalapadu sarpanch Karam Venkateswarlu, representatives of the Robin Hood Army Ramesh and Kiran, Pushpala family members Venkanna, Chander Rao and Sai, AIDWA leader Sandakura Lakshmi, and mandal leaders Noopa Bhaskar, Bandi Komaraiah and others were present.
