Covid-19: Telangana registers 862 new cases, three deaths on Wednesday
Between Tuesday and Wednesday, 41,101 tests were conducted in the State while reports of another 963 samples were awaited

Hyderabad: Telangana has recorded 862 new Covid-19 infections and three fatalities on Wednesday taking the tally of cases to 2,66,904 and deaths to 1,444. The number of active cases came down to 10,784 with 961 more recovering on Wednesday, taking the cumulative tally to 2,54,676 with a recovery rate of 95.41 per cent, against country’s 93.7 per cent.
Between Tuesday and Wednesday, 41,101 tests were conducted in the State while reports of another 963 samples were awaited. Till Wednesday, a total of 52,89,908 tests had been conducted since the pandemic.
Cases reported from districts include four from Adilabad, 53 from Bhadradri, 164 from areas under the GHMC, 24 from Jagitiyal, four from Jangaon, 11 from Bhupalpally, four from Gadwal, nine from Kamareddy, 38 from Karimnagar, 63 from Khammam, seven from Asifabad, 15 from Mahabubnagar, eight from Mahabubabad, 26 from Mancherial, nine from Medak, 91 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 11 from Mulugu, 10 from Nagarkurnool, 35 from Nalgonda, eight from Narayanpet, two from Nirmal, 13 from Nizamabad, 37 from Peddapalli, 10 from Sircilla, 57 from Ranga Reddy, 27 from Sangareddy, 20 from Siddipet, 28 from Suryapet, eight from Vikarabad, 11 from Wanaparthy, 12 from Warangal Rural, 33 from Warangal Urban and 10 from Bhongir.
