Warangal: Director, IIT Hyderabad, Prof BS Murthy urged students to have a focused goal with clarity on achieving it. He asked them not to give up the goal due to difficulties in the journey.
“The mantra to achieve one’s goal is to have a dream, belief in himself/herself, and have a habit of inquisitiveness at every stage,” he said addressing the students at the valedictory ceremony on the last day of the Science Week festival held from February 22 at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) campus here on Monday.
The ceremony commenced with garlanding the portrait of Dr CV Raman on the occasion of his birth anniversary. Director, NITW, Prof NV Ramana Rao, Prof K Laxma Reddy, Prof L Krishnanand and other faculty members attended the closing ceremony. Nearly 40,000 school and college students have visited NIT Warangal during the science festival, according to the organisers.
