Cyberabad Police nab choreographer Jani Master in Bengaluru
Police were on lookout for the Master after a case was registered against him for allegedly threatening and sexually assaulting an assistant choreographer
Hyderabad: Choreographer Shaik Jani alias Jani Master was taken into custody by the Cyberabad Police in Bengaluru on Thursday.
The Cyberabad Police were on the lookout for Jani Master after a case was registered against him for allegedly threatening and sexually assaulting an assistant choreographer during shootings.
The victim had lodged a complaint with the Raidurgam police initially and after registering a ‘zero FIR’, the Raidurgam police transferred the case to Narsingi police station on jurisdictional grounds.
The police invoked Sections of POCSO Act and other laws against Jani Master after which he went into hiding. The victim had alleged that the well known choreographer had threatened and sexually assaulted her multiple times.
