Nizamabad: Due to the rash driving of gravel truck driver, a cyclist lost his life in Indrapur area under the Fifth Town police station limits in Nizamabad city. In the last fifteen days, two persons died in road accidents in Indrapur area of Varni road in Nizamabad city.
Nakka Krishnaiah (48) who belongs to the Indrapur area, was travelling to his house on a cycle on Saturday when a gravel-laden truck hit his cycle from the rear side resulting in his instant death. The Fifth Town police registered a case and conducting an inquiry by taking the truck driver into their custody.
About two weeks ago, a Village Revenue Officer (VRO) died in a road accident on the same road when gravel-laden truck hit his bike. Local people have been requesting the police to take action against the truck drivers for rash driving and protect their lives.
