Delhi Public School celebrates Telangana Formation Day
Students at all levels actively participated in the event.

The youngest state of India Telangana turns a year older. The management and staff of Delhi Public School Mahendra Hills celebrated Telangana Formation Day this year with gaiety through a virtual Special assembly. A virtual special assembly was conducted to celebrate the occasion.
The assembly started with the traditional lighting of the lamp to invoke the blessings of Almighty followed by singing, dancing, topic talk, etc. Principal Sunitha Rao while addressing the gathering asked the audience to cherish, remember and take pride in the rich culture and heritage of the State.
The heritage, culture, and rich history of Telangana, was reiterated through online presentations, made by young students. The school also organised various level-wise competitions, for all the students to instill patriotism through artwork, poetry, video making, and topic talks. Topics that were given included heritage of Telangana, State symbols, My State My Pride, The rise and development of the youngest State of India.
Students at all levels actively participated in the event. An online quiz was also conducted for the students of higher classes.
