World Vegan Day is celebrated on November 1. The day encourages people to follow the vegan lifestyle. According to several prominent vegans, the vegan lifestyle benefits human health protects the well-being of animals and also helps in protecting the environment.
Students and teachers at Delhi Public school, Nacharam took up an activity to mark World Vegan Day. Students of class IV had vegan breakfast with the teacher online and offline. Students were explained the benefits of being vegan and were encouraged to go for a vegan meal on this day by not having any milk product, eggs, or honey.
Students participated with all enthusiasm. They enjoyed their breakfast. Teachers advocated the joys and benefits of veganism highlighting just how easy it was to go for the cruelty-free lifestyle as well as generate awareness on rights for furry friends. Even though veganism calls for the rejection of all animal-based products, a plant-based diet is the best way to encourage this change.
