Hyderabad: The students of grade III and IV of Delhi Public School, Nacharam, embraced Apple Day by knowing more about apples during the assembly. Apple Day is an annual celebration of apples and orchards. It traditionally falls on October 21. Students learnt that there are 7000 varieties of apples in the world.

The students were eager to share the screen and explain to their friends about the benefits of eating the crunchy juicy fruit. They were encouraged to prefer apples and other fruits over junk food.
