Eatala misuses political powers to enhance properties: Gellu Srinivas

Speaking on the occasion, he said Chief Minister K Chandrashekahar Rao gave the Cabinet berth to Rajender twice, but the latter failed to develop the constituency.

Karimnagar: TRS candidate Gellu Srinivas Yadav found fault with BJP leader Eatala Rajender for misusing political power to increase his wealth and amass money by neglecting the people of Huzurabad constituency.

Srinivas Yadav campaigned in Odduvagu Ramannapalli village of Illanthakunta mandal on Sunday. Speaking on the occasion, he said Chief Minister K Chandrashekahar Rao gave the Cabinet berth to Rajender twice, but the latter failed to develop the constituency. “How would the BJP leader, who failed to develop the constituency while he was a Minister, develop the constituency by sitting in the Opposition if he is elected in the by-polls,” he questioned and advised the people not to be duped by believing Rajender’s tall promises.

The TRS candidate said Rajender was not interested in doing service to the people. “I have no palatial house in Hyderabad like Rajender. I will be available to you (people) at a phone call away and solve all your problems”, he said.

Srinivas Yadav said the Chief Minister has sanctioned 4,000 double bedroom houses to each Minister. He added that while all the Ministers have completed houses in their respective constituencies and performed house-warming ceremonies by providing new clothes to beneficiaries, Rajender failed to complete a single house in Huzurabad constituency.

Instead of completing houses, the BJP leader constructed a palatial house in Hyderabad by spending crores of rupees. The Huzurabad segment got relief from troubles with the resignation of Rajender, he observed.

Besides a mahila bhavan, Rs 40 lakh was also sanctioned to lay CC roads in Odduvaguramannapalli village.
