Warangal: In a shocking incident, a student was pushed to death from the second floor of the hostel building at the Balaji Institute of Science and Technology (BITS) campus here on Friday night. The deceased was identified as N Sanjay (18), a second-year student of the diploma in polytechnic in the EEE branch.

It is alleged that his roommate had pushed him from the window of their room over a fight on payment of fine charged by the hostel warden for breaking the windowpanes. Moreover, students alleged that Sanjay would have not died if he was taken to a ‘good hospital’ in time. Though the incident occurred at around 9 pm, the college management had tried to suppress the news reaching the outsiders till Saturday morning.
