Hyderabad: Cyberabad Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar launched a free ambulance service by the Vennapusa Foundation in the presence of foundation chairman Subba Reddy Vennapusa here on Monday. The service will operate in Shadnagar Town and surrounding rural areas.
Sajjanar appreciated the generosity of the foundation and said the permanent free ambulance could be used for all emergency cases by calling 7710872108. Subba Reddy said reports about private ambulance operators charging extremely high rates had prompted such a service.
