Hyderabad: TRS candidate for Venkateshwara Colony municipal division Manne Kavitha Reddy on Thursday said that the TRS government stood by the poor and downtrodden in the last six years. She conducted a door-to-door campaign in Singadikunta basthi along with party leaders and scores of party workers.
As part of the campaign, she met voters and explained them about the TRS government’s achievements in Hyderabad. Kavitha said the TRS government extended a helping hand to the flood-affected families in the city following heavy rains.
The government would resume disbursal of financial aid to all those who are eligible post GHMC elections. The TRS would again emerge victorious as people have been extending full support to the government, she said.
With several measures taken up to provide free drinking water, the State government was also helping caste-based communities with various welfare schemes, she added.
