A colourful start to the year began with Holi and with children’s faces smeared with colour and full of excitement. The classrooms echoed with laughter and cries of ‘Holi Hai ‘and children splashing colours virtually on their friends and wishing each other a Happy Holi .
The festival of Ugadi was celebrated with equal fervour and enthusiasm. The essence of the festival was captured best with the children colouring the six different flavours of Ugadi depicting the six ingredients that signifies the popular dish the ‘Ugadi Pacchadi .’The making and partaking in the pachadi brought in the significance of the festival.
The preprimary at Gitanjali Devshala are gearing up for a year filled with colours, plenty of fresh ideas and a wonderful Pachadi of learning and fun .
