Khammam: Ramakrishna Vidyalayam welcomes students with vedic rituals
Sri Ramakrishna Vidyalayam at Guttala Bazar, Khammam, began its 2026–27 academic year with Vedic rituals including the Gayatri Homam.

Khammam: Sri Ramakrishna Vidyalayam located at Guttala Bazar in Khammam and run under the aegis of Sri Saraswathi Vidyapeetam commenced the academic year 2026–27 by performing Vedic rituals on Wednesday.
The sacred Gayatri Homam was performed under the guidance of the Vibhag president Devaki Vasudeva Rao along with the headmaster, teaching staff and non-teaching staff of the school.
Prayers were offered seeking the blessings of Lord Ganesha for the removal of obstacles, Goddess Gayatri for wisdom and enlightenment and Goddess Saraswathi for knowledge and academic excellence.
The school committee members, alumni, parents and students offered prayers for the successful commencement of the new academic year and the all-round development of the students.
Vasudeva Rao emphasised that education should not only impart knowledge but also inculcate values, discipline, and character. He appreciated the efforts of Sri Ramakrishna Vidyalayam in nurturing young minds through a harmonious blend of modern education and Bharatiya cultural values.
