Hyderabad: Gitanjali Primary School was brimming with festive fervour and a splash of colours as children of class dressed up in pretty ethnic wears turned up at the virtual programme to mark the festivities. Students were explained the significance of diyas during Diwali. Children added sparkle to the event by painting and decorating colourful diyas. The festive mood was manifested by the joy and laughter of the children.
At an earlier virtual event, students celebrated Halloween with lot of pomp and enthusiasm. They were dressed up as witches, wizards and vampires. They did jack-o-lantern colouring and made colourful pumpkin masks as a classroom activity. Children went trick or treating between sections and brought back a lot of candies and smiles. The children enjoyed the celebration with their teachers and friends amid a festive atmosphere.
