Gitanjali Primary School designed and hosted a novel and indigenous ‘Intra-branch Teachers Competition’ on November 20. A friendly yet challenging joust, ‘PACT-O-VISION’ – IMPACT OF FUTURISTIC VISION 2022, was mainly focused to stimulate learning among educators.
The structure of the event was to first select a theme or concept or skill set to be represented by a team of three teachers, then present a paper on the selected theme, and at the final stage apply and demonstrate the methodology of their choice as a presentation or video.
Teachers from all the branches participated with great enthusiasm and presented their inventive and detailed presentations along with chart work showcasing their chosen skillset.
Each branch was allotted a colour, whose allotment was based on communication, innovation, effectiveness, appeal and feasibility of their presentation.
Esteemed judges for this competition were Geeta Anand, visiting faculty for PG diploma in HR management course offered by St Francis College for Women and Asma Jeelani, a learning and development consultant from Seneca Global who shared their intellectual insights at the end of the competition. This competition was the brainchild of Renee Dutta, headmistress, Gitanjali Primary School.
The event ended with Jai Karan revealing the awards for the branches: Gitanjali Primary – Brilliant Plan (blue), Gitanjali Devshala – Intelligent Plan (green), Gitanjali Devashray – Noteworthy Plan (red), Gitanjali Devakul – Admirable Plan (orange), Gitanjali Senior School – Praiseworthy Plan (yellow), and Gitanjali Vedika – Commendable Plan (pink).
