On the occasion of International Yoga Day, Gitanjali Primary School organised an online yoga session for the children of class I, II and III.
The session, conducted by Vasantha, a certified yoga teacher/trainer since 2015, included chanting of omkara, pranayama and demonstration of asanas with different animal postures like butterfly and snake posture, vajrasana, to name a few. She has also undergone a yoga therapy disease oriented certification course and conducts fitness and yoga classes regularly for schools and other organisations. She also heads an organisation which conducts abacus and vedic math classes. The children were seen trying to emulate her enthusiastically.
