Warangal: Stressing the need to protect child rights, Hanamkonda ACP M Jitender Reddy said that every government officer should work for the children’s welfare as per the provisions of the Juvenile Justice Act 2005.
On the occasion of the Children’s Day Walkathon programme organised under the auspices of the Childline-1098 and District Child Protection Unit of Hanamkonda, ACP Jitender Reddy said that child protection and care departments should conduct awareness programmes including seminars and workshops from time to time to ensure that children’s rights are not violated, and work vigilantly towards building a child-friendly society.
