Hyderabad: V Hanumantha Rao, former Rajya Sabha member and senior Congress party leader, on Saturday condemned Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) officials for the demolition of Ranji cricketer Bhogi Shravani’s house recently.
He said that GHMC officials ignored the outdated buildings and constructions, issued notices in rush to Shravani and demolished her house. Later, he spoke to the GHMC Commissioner and demanded to rebuild her house.
He also said that he will sit on a dharna at Shravani’s house from 11 am on Sunday and asked all sports associations in the State to come and to support the cause. TPCC Secretary, Shambhula Srikanth Goud, Apsar Yusuf, Narsing Rao, Mahender and others visited.
