Hyderabad: HCLTech announced the expansion of its delivery footprint in Hyderabad with a new 3.2 lakh sqft tech centre in HiTec City. CEO C Vijaya Kumar signed an MoU with the State government officials at the ongoing World Economic Forum (WEF) summit in Davos on Wednesday.
The facility, with a capacity of 5,000 employees and a Gold Certification from the Indian Green Building Council, will focus on AI, cloud, and digital transformation solutions.
The State government signed an MoU with Hyderabad-based CtrlS Datacentres to develop a Rs 10,000 crore AI Datacenter Cluster with a 400 MW capacity. The project will create 3,600 jobs and enhance Telangana’s status as a digital infrastructure hub. IT Minister D Sridhar Babu and CtrlS CEO Sridhar Pinnapureddy exchanged the MoU at WEF.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy participated in a roundtable on Urban Mobility at the WEF on Wednesday. He stressed the importance of infrastructure, accessibility, inclusivity, and sustainability as core pillars, aiming to make Hyderabad a global leader in urban mobility. He shared Telangana’s vision for future-ready cities and cutting-edge technology initiatives during his address at the WEF in Davos.
