Mancherial: An in-charge headmaster was suspended for allegedly allowing BRS activists to hand over chairs under the Gift a Smile initiative marking the birthday of party working president KT Rama Rao at a government school at Nallagondawada in Chennur town on Saturday.

Officials of the education department said that the headmaster, RK Prasad, was placed under suspension for permitting the activists to donate chairs to the school as part of the initiative.

Action was initiated against Prasad for failing to prevent a political party’s meeting in the school involving students during school time, an official stated.
