Hyderabad: A 12-year-old girl was injured after falling off a joy ride at the Numaish here on Tuesday evening.
The girl, Syeda Madiha, a resident of Red Hills in Nampally, had come to the city recently from Canada to her relatives in the city. On Tuesday evening, the child went along with her family to the exhibition and after visiting a few stalls, went to the playing arena and got onto a ride.
“The child slipped and fell from the ride and sustained injuries. She was rushed to hospital by family members,” the Begum Bazaar police said.
The family members so far have not lodged any complaint, the police said.
