Hyderabad Cybercrime cops help in refund of Rs 9.5 lakh to fraud victim

The 32-year-old businessman was cheated by the fraudsters who promised him good returns on investments

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Cybercrime Unit refunded a total amount of Rs 9.5 lakh belonging to a businessman from the city who was duped by cyber fraudsters in a business fraud.

The 32-year-old victim was cheated by the fraudsters who promised him good returns on investments in their businesses, but failed and went absconding.

Based on a complaint, the Cybercrime Police booked a case and nabbed the suspects in the case from New Delhi. With the support of the court, the siphoned money was returned to the victim through Demand Draft.
