Hyderabad to witness rise in night temperature

Hyderabad: After two weeks of a cold wave-like situation, the minimum average temperature in the city was recorded at 13.4 degrees Celsius in the early hours of Friday.
The lowest minimum temperature of 10.8 degree Celsius was recorded at Rajendranagar.
According to the forecast by Telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS), the night temperatures will see a significant increase in the next two days. It is expected that the minimum temperature in the central parts of Hyderabad, including Secunderabad, Begumpet, Jubilee Hills, Amberpet and Kukatpally, will be between 18 degrees Celsius and 20 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, the same in areas located towards the outskirts of the city, such as Serilingampally, Hayathnagar, Rajendranagar, and Falaknuma, is likely to range from 16 degrees Celsius to 18 degrees Celsius.
Many districts where the night temperatures had plummeted drastically, have also witnessed an increase in the mercury levels. On Friday, the lowest minimum temperature of 8.8 degree Celsius was recorded at Adilabad. Other districts where the night temperature dipped below 10 degree Celsius were Rangareddy, Kumram Bheem Asifabad, Sangareddy and Nirmal. The forecast for the next three days by TSDPS suggests that the minimum temperature in most parts of Telangana will be above 15 degree Celsius.
However, as per experts at India Meteorological Department, Hyderabad, temperatures at a few places in the State are likely to dip by two to four degrees on December 26 and 27. The officials have not issued any alerts for the State.
