Hyderabad: Two killed in wall collapse
Hyderabad: Two persons were crushed to death when a wall collapsed on them at Shankerpally in Ranga Reddy district on Sunday afternoon.
According to police, the two persons P Madhu Kumar (26) and M Srikanth (25), resident of Balkampuram in Shankerpally mandal of Ranga Reddy district, were friends.
On Sunday, Madhu Kumar called his friend Srikanth to help in demolishing a wall on the first floor of their house. On his request, Srikanth came to Madhu Kumar’s house in the morning.
“Around noon, the two were demolishing the wall using a drilling machine when it collapsed on them. Both came under the rubble,” said Shankerpally Inspector Mahesh Goud.
Noticing this, locals rushed to the spot and pulled out the injured persons from the rubble and shifted them to hospital. However, both died while undergoing treatment at the hospital.
On information, Shankerpally police reached the spot and booked a case.
