Hyderabad: Two sisters who left home traced safely by Jeedimetla Police

Two sisters aged 21 and 14, who left home after being scolded by their father, were traced near Vijayawada by Jeedimetla police using technical inputs and bus tracking details. They were safely reunited with their family.

Hyderabad: Two sisters, aged 21 and 14 years, who allegedly left home after being reprimanded by their father, were traced safely by the Jeedimetla police and reunited with their family on Wednesday.

According to the police, the family approached the police around 1 am and reported that the girls had left the house. A case was registered and a special team was formed to search for and trace the girls safely.


Jeedimetla Inspector G Mallesh said, “Using technical inputs and tracking RTC bus movement details, the duo was traced near Vijayawada. They were secured and safely handed back to their parents.”

The family thanked the Jeedimetla police for their prompt response and timely efforts in bringing the girls home safely.
