Hyderabad: A woman approached the Sanathnagar police saying she was being stalked and harassed by an unidentified person on her phone.
The victim from SRT Colony said in her complaint that the suspect had first called her three months ago and they continued talking over the phone since then. Recently, he proposed to her, but she rejected the proposal saying she was already married and had a teenage daughter.
Angered by the rejection, he started threatening her saying he would tell everyone that they were having an extramarital affair. He also demanded Rs 2 lakh. Even after she paid him, he continued to harass her. She then approached the Sanathnagar police and lodged a complaint. The police are investigating.
