Two passengers, including a four-year-old boy and the conductor, were killed when a private bus rammed a lorry at Boath crossroads near Neradigonda mandal on NH-44 in Adilabad. Three others sustained injuries and were shifted to RIMS, Adilabad.

A massive fire gutted about 30 shops near the foothills of Kondagattu in Mallial mandal late Saturday night. The blaze, suspected to have been triggered by a short circuit, spread through toy and general stores along the Jagtial–Karimnagar road.
