Jagtial: Two construction workers from Andhra Pradesh drown in farm well

Two construction workers from Andhra Pradesh drowned in a farm well at Chintakunta village in Jagtial district on Tuesday night. Their bodies were retrieved on Wednesday morning. Police registered a case of suspicious death and began an investigation.

Jagtial: Two construction workers from Andhra Pradesh drowned in a farm well after slipping into it at Chintakunta village in Kathalapur mandal on Tuesday night. The incident came to fore on Wednesday morning.

Police said that the deceased were identified as Anand (23) and Sanjeev (22) from Vinukonda in Guntur district. They were reportedly sitting on the edges of the well when the mishap took place. Their bodies were retrieved. Further details are awaited.

The workers had migrated to Jagtial in search of livelihood a few years back. Their bodies have been shifted to Jagtial government hospital for post-mortem. A case of suspicious death has been registered. Investigations are underway.
