Hyderabad: India’s top compound archer Jyothi Surekha Vennam continues to dominate winning another remarkable milestone by winning the Bronze Medal at the prestigious Archery World Cup Final held in Nanjing, China, on Saturday.
In a thrilling match, Jyothi defeated Ella Gibson of Great Britain with a stunning 150–145 score. This contest marked the first-ever 150/150 performance in a World Cup Final, setting a new benchmark in world archery.
With this achievement, Jyothi Surekha Vennam becomes the first Indian woman compound archer to win a medal at the World Cup Final, bringing immense pride to the nation.
This bronze medal is also Jyothi Surekha’s 88th career medal, adding another glorious chapter to her illustrious journey in international archery.
