KARIMNAGAR: Collector Pamela Satpathy issued memos to six district level officers for neglecting duties during the Union Urban Development Minister Manohar Lal Khattar’s tour programme held in Karimnagar town on Friday.

Khattar along with Union Minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay Kumar, State Ministers Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy and Ponnam Prabhakar inaugurated various developmental works completed under Smart City programme.

Ministers faced inconvenience due to lack of coordination among officers. Enraged over poor arrangements, Srinivas Reddy expressed anger at the Collector. The words of the Minister went viral on social media and also widely covered in print and electronic media.

Initiating action against the officials who are reportedly responsible for the inconvenience, she issued memos to Karimnagar town ACP, SC Corporation ED, District Youth and Sports Officer, District Welfare Officer, District Education Officer and RDO. Collector instructed officials to submit an explanation.
