Hyderabad: Upcoming action entertainer ‘Raja Vikramarka’ featuring actor Karthikeya Gummakonda will soon hit theatres. The movie unit wrapped up all major sequences and entered the post-production stage.
The movie is being produced by ’88’ Ramareddy under the banner of Sri Chitra Movie Makers while T Adireddy is presenting the movie. Leading director VV Vinayak’s protege Sri Saripalli is being introduced as the director. Tanya Ravichandran is playing opposite Karthikeya in the movie.
“Our ‘Raja Vikramarka’ story is set in Hyderabad city. We have been scouring for a temple that was under the archaeological department. Luckily, we found a temple in Gandikota. We were permitted to shoot near the sanctum sanctorum. Breaking the routine, we shot some sequences in a rubber forest. We shot the pre-climax shoot at the dumpyard. We haven’t compromised in terms of making and production standards. Soon after completion of post-production, we will announce the release date,” he added.
Director Sri Saripalli said actor Karthikeya’s characterisation will be the highlight of the film. He will be seen as an NIA agent. Karthikeya has done one full justice to the role, he added.
