Koppula Eshwar provides financial aid to accident victim
On coming to know about the financial constraints faced by the victim, Shravan’s family, the Minister first enquired about his health condition and gave a Letter of Credit of Rs.4 lakh to Shravan’s brother Tirupati
Hyderabad: Social Welfare Minister Koppula Eshwar on Monday came to the rescue of an accident victim by extending financial assistance of over Rs.4 lakh to him for proper treatment.
The victim, Shravan, hailing from Kothur village in Dharmaram mandal in Peddapalli district, suffered serious injuries in a road accident that took place a few days ago. Presently, he is undergoing treatment at NIMS. On coming to know about the financial constraints faced by Shravan’s family, the Minister first enquired about his health condition and gave a Letter of Credit (LoC) of Rs.4 lakh to Shravan’s brother Tirupati.
The LoC has to be submitted at the hospital for better treatment. Eshwar handed over the letter to Tirupati at the former’s camp office here. Thanking the Minister for financially helping the family, Tirupati said the Minister’s initiative would help Shravan in getting timely treatment.
This is the second in a week that the Minister has come to the rescue of the poor. He gave LoC of Rs.4 lakh to the family members of a woman P Ratna Sheela for proper treatment to her at NIMS.
After Ratna Sheela’s family members hailing from Velgatur in Jagtial approached him for financial assistance as they were facing financial problems for treatment, the Minister immediately responded and took necessary steps for sanctioning Rs.4 lakh from CMRF.
