Hyderabad: Coming to the rescue of people seeking medicines for Black Fungus treatment, IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao on Thursday urged them to mail the details including doctors’ prescription to Director Medical Education’s email “mailto:dme@telangana.gov.in”dme@telangana.gov.in and “mailto:ent-mcrm@telangana.gov.in”ent-mcrm@telangana.gov.in in a prescribed format.
Apart from email, people can also send their application via Twitter @DMETELANGANA.
The Minister, in a tweet, said that after checking the details, officials will arrange the medicines accordingly. He also wanted the patients or their attendants to share a copy of the application with @KTRoffice so that he could follow up.
The applications are to be submitted in the following format.
1. Application for Liposomal Amphotericin B, Posaconazole and Ivasuconazole – The application should have patients details including name, age, gender, body weight, date of covid positivity, date of admission for covid treatment, hospital where being treated for Covid-19, duration of hospital stay (number of days), IP number, name of attendant, mobile and email of the attendant.
2. Treating Hospital details should have the following details – Hospital name, district, address, superintendent’s name, mobile number and email address.
3. Treating ENT / Opthamalmic / Neuro surgeon doctor – Name, designation, mobile and registration number.
