The award was constituted by Sharada Educational Society.

Thanking the organisation, Dr Sameera Reddy stated that being acknowledged for her 15 years of dedicated service strengthens her commitment and sense of responsibility. She emphasised that her ultimate vision was to create a disease-free society through the transformative power of naturopathy and yoga.
This esteemed award celebrates 130 exceptional women from the five South Indian States—Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Karnataka—who have made remarkable contributions to society and women’s empowerment.
The awards were presented by Hyderabad Deputy Municipal Commissioner Dr Tipparthi Yadayya and actress Kavitha.
For the past 18 years, Sharada Educational Society, under the leadership of its Chairman, Dr Patnam Kamala Manohar, has been recognising women who have significantly contributed to women’s empowerment, literacy, and child education.
